Orders

Sizing

Each product is handmade to order. We are happy to accommodate length modifications. Additional fees may apply. Custom sizes are not eligible for return or exchange.

To measure your wrist, wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, then add approximately 1/4 an inch for a snug fit, 1/2 an inch for an average fit and 1 inch for a looser fit. A string and ruler also work great!

Size chart

Please note that sizing may vary +/-0.25 inches for any patterned bracelet to achieve a uniform pattern.

Adult Small: 6.25 inches
Adult Medium: 6.75 inches
Adult Large: 7.5 inches

Child Small: 5.5 inches
Child Large: 6.0 inches

Care

Gold

Our jewelry is made out of 14k gold filled material, which contains 100 times more gold than gold plated counterparts. Gold filled products are more durable and less likely to tarnish over time. With proper care they can last years.

Our gold products are water resistant. We recommend avoiding direct contact with harsh or abrasive chemicals, including some perfumes, soaps, and lotions, as this can cause discoloration. Clean occasionally with a mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth.

Silver

All of our silver is 925 sterling silver, which is water resistant. We recommend avoiding harsh and abrasive chemicals, which can cause discoloration. All sterling silver will tarnish over time.

We recommend cleaning with a mild nonabrasive silver cleaner. Always store sterling silver jewelry in an airtight container when not wearing to minimize the amount of oxygen exposure, which will slow the tarnishing process.

Earrings

These pieces are tarnish resistant, but removing them before water exposure will extend the life of the earring. We recommend avoiding direct contact with harsh or abrasive chemicals, including some perfumes, soaps, and lotions, as this can cause discoloration. Clean as needed with a mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth.

Always use caution when removing earrings as beads may come loose over time. Avoid bending the hoop to maintain original shape. Store in muslin pouch when not being worn.

Bracelets

When adding or removing your bracelets, gently roll them over your hand one at a time to avoid overstretching and potential breakage. Minimal stretching is recommended to maintain the bracelet’s original size and integrity.

Warranty + repairs

We proudly stand behind our jewelry; however, we understand that accidents can happen. Any defective piece purchased from our website will be repaired free of charge within 30 days of purchase, with valid proof of purchase.

If a piece is damaged through everyday wear, we are happy to offer repair services. Repair fees apply and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Processing

Shipping

Amethyst + Opal offers free shipping on orders over $75 and a flat shipping fee of $6 for all other orders. We also offer express shipping, which can be selected at checkout. Please email us at amethystandopalllc@gmail.com with any questions. We are happy to help!

Returns + exchanges

Please email us at amethystandopalllc@gmail.com to initiate the return process.

Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition, inside a padded envelope with a tracking number, and postmarked within 14 days of delivery. We will issue your refund within 5 business days of receiving the return/exchange, less a $5.00 handling + service fee. Shipping paid is not refundable. The credit will be applied automatically to your original payment method. Please allow several business days for credit card processing.

Custom sizes and designs are not eligible for return or exchange. In some circumstances they may be available for resize... only if confirmed before making the purchase.

All sale items are final sale and not available for resize, exchange or return.

Gift Cards are nonrefundable.

Processing time

Most of our pieces are made to order. Please allow 2–4 business days for production unless otherwise noted on our homepage banner or during special sales. Any order placed after 4pm will be considered the next business day.

Custom orders and sizes will take additional time.
